À Londres, beaucoup de gens ne veulent plus acheter d’appartement aujourd’hui. Avant, les gens faisaient la queue pour en acheter, mais maintenant, plein d’appartements restent vides pendant des mois.

Acheter un appart, ça coûte très cher. Construire un appart, ça coûte cher aussi. En plus, les banques demandent beaucoup plus d’argent. Beaucoup de propriétaires sont tristes. Ils n’arrivent pas à vendre leurs logements. Certains appartements ont des canalisations de gaz cassées ou des murs dangereux à cause d’anciens incendies. Les propriétaires ne règlent pas ces problèmes rapidement.

À cause de ces problèmes, beaucoup de jeunes ne peuvent pas emménager dans des logements plus grands. Le gouvernement essaie de rendre l’achat d’un logement moins cher et plus sûr pour tout le monde.
