L’Inde est une destination très prisée pour le tourisme médical. De nombreux malades s’y rendent chaque année. Le pays dispose d’excellents hôpitaux privés et de médecins compétents.

Les traitements y sont bien moins chers que dans les pays occidentaux. Les patients n’attendent pas longtemps avant d’être opérés. Beaucoup viennent d’Afrique et d’Asie. Aujourd’hui, d’autres pays comme la Thaïlande et la Turquie cherchent aussi à attirer davantage de patients étrangers.

Pour garder une longueur d’avance, les entreprises indiennes utilisent les nouvelles technologies et l’IA pour aider les médecins. L’Inde veut montrer que son système de santé est moderne, sûr et de grande qualité, et pas seulement bon marché.
