L’Espagne a remporté la Coupe du monde après avoir battu l’Argentine lors d’un match qui s’est terminé en prolongation. Plus d’un million de supporters sont descendus dans les rues de Madrid pour voir leurs héros du foot lors d’un grand défilé.

Les experts disent que l’Espagne méritait de gagner parce que l’équipe a très bien joué collectivement et a fait du super foot tout au long du tournoi. La grande finale aux États-Unis a proposé un spectacle de mi-temps inhabituel avec des stars célèbres, un peu comme au Super Bowl. Des personnalités importantes comme Donald Trump étaient aussi présentes au match.

Cette Coupe du monde a été la plus chère et la plus rentable de l’histoire. Certains billets se sont vendus à 100 000 dollars. Les gens pensent que ce tournoi a changé le football pour toujours, car il a introduit des concepts commerciaux américains dans ce sport.
