Les gens en Inde sont très en colère aujourd’hui. Le gouvernement veut construire un grand barrage. Il veut relier deux rivières.
Le gouvernement affirme que ce barrage apportera de l’eau aux régions arides et aidera les agriculteurs. Mais l’eau envahit désormais les villages, les maisons et les fermes. Beaucoup de gens perdent leur maison. Ils n’ont pas assez d’argent pour en construire de nouvelles. Les gens se tiennent debout dans l’eau pour manifester et demander de l’aide. Les experts en environnement s’inquiètent aussi, car l’eau va nuire aux arbres et aux tigres d’un grand parc.
Le gouvernement dit que ce projet est important, mais les gens veulent rester sur leurs terres.
