Le célèbre footballeur Lionel Messi a décidé d’arrêter de jouer pour l’équipe nationale argentine.
La superstar de 39 ans a déclaré sur Instagram que c’était une décision difficile, mais que c’était le bon moment. Il a joué pour l’Argentine pendant 20 ans, a marqué 125 buts et disputé 207 matchs. Son plus grand succès a été de remporter la Coupe du monde en 2022 au Qatar. Il a également remporté deux titres de la Copa América.
Messi a déclaré avoir tout donné pour son équipe, mais que les jeunes joueurs avaient désormais besoin d’une chance. Messi continuera à jouer pour son club, l’Inter Miami aux États-Unis, mais sa carrière internationale est désormais terminée.
